Lancets and Syringes

Needles are friendly when you're sick
they aren't angry when they prick
their lone concern is your health
a long to regulate your breath

sizes and shapes come differently
fluids they spew in your cavity
all you have to do is cringe
and feel the sweet smiling Syringe

Oft they bleed my fingers tip
a crimson drop; the vial sip
for now i know, they're here to stay
to slay and keep the pain away

i have a phobia in needles.

and the sickness that befell me last month that neared my death, summoned them.

it was my firs time to be dextrosed.
how painful it was.

every 4 hours they prick my fingers for blood sample 50+ times , ouch!
then the injections. dont even think about it.

thats why this poem was born. literal

Sometimes illness provides quite a change in perspective. I enjoyed this poem very much.

o man. that sucks. I was about to say I don't like needles cuz I thought u liked them and then I read ur comment and I was like, oh.. Good poem, btw. Once I pricked myself using a plastic box-finger pricking device. It hurt a lot.

Why did they prick u so much?
I hope u don't have to go through that ever again. going thru a phobia like that that many times..
